Braintree - Branch Details

COVID-19 MEASURES: We regret that clients are not allowed in the practice building at present.  Please read the notices as you come down the driveway and follow the road signage.  For appointments please drive through to the cabin and book in with a receptionist, they will advise you where to park as this will depend on which vet or veterinary nurse you are coming to see.  To collect prescriptions please park in the main car park and knock on the front door.

Situated just off the A120 and close to Freeport Shopping Village our main practice on Millennium Way offers a full range of first opinion facilities and referral facilities in several disciplines.

Our large car park and open green provide parking and an exercise area for our large busy practice. Consultations run every day, throughout the day five days a week and on Saturdays until 6pm. You can book an appointment as early as 8am Monday - Saturday and as late as 8pm on weekdays.  Appointments can be booked through our online booking page, click here or by ringing 01376 325511.  However we recommend you ring us if you want an appointment with a chosen member of staff, something we would encourage you to do where possible. All our vet and nurse consultations need to be pre-booked. We treat emergencies with priority and will see emergency cases immediately.

We provide a veterinary care service 24 hours a day, seven days a week - using our own staff and the out-of-hours facility at VetsNow in Witham outside of our opening hours. For further information click here.

Our reception staff also work in our dedicated communications room upstairs.  We try whenever possible to answer incoming calls in this room so we can spend more uninterrupted time with clients coming to reception.

For the comfort of our patients we have a separate cat waiting area and offer cat only appointment times at our Coggeshall branch.

We have an outside area if you would prefer to wait with your pet after you have booked in at reception.

Our 5th consulting room can be accessed from the back of the practice.  This can be used for dogs who find their visit to the vets difficult allowing you to wait with your pet on the bench outside and avoid other dogs and their owners.

We understand that not all pets enjoy going to the vets and we are always happy to help your pet feel more comfortable at our practice, especially younger animals who are starting to learn about their world! If you have any concerns regarding this please speak to one of our nurses.

The waiting room has a small shop for your pet. We stock a variety of dog and cat products and a range of rabbit, guinea pig and small pet items - all at competitive prices. Apart from prescription diets we also sell pheromone therapies and range of life stage canine and feline diets.  We are stockist for Natures Menu and Natural Instinct raw dog and cat food.  Our nurses are always happy to offer diet advice.

Our aim is to give you the advice and treatment that is most appropriate for your pet. All of our members of staff are committed to caring for your pet and supporting you and your pet throughout their life from the early days right through to the senior years.

Your feedback is always important to us to ensure we offer a high level of service. Please contact Lisa Birnie our practice manager, or one of the directors if you would like to comment on the service we have given.
