Guidelines for visiting our Coggeshall Practice

We respectfully, ask only healthy clients visit the Coggeshall clinic at this time.

Space is limited and social- distancing is a challenge. Therefore, please follow the one client per pet rule.

If you are in an ‘at risk’ group or are self-isolating, please call 01376 325511 for advice on how we can best attend to your pet’s veterinary needs.

Medication and Food orders

Unfortunately, the entire health care industry is under immense pressure. Some supplies have been redirected to the NHS. This means veterinary clinics are receiving delivery of supplies every other day. Thus, please show kindness and patience to our staff when requesting your repeat prescription orders. We are working as hard as we can to ensure a smooth supply chain.

To try and reduce foot-fall in the clinic, you can request up to 3 months’ supply of your pet’s regular medications, assuming that your veterinary surgeon has approved your request and we have adequate supplies.

Medication can be posted to you and we can advise you of the cost of doing this when you place your order.

From Monday 23rd March, we will offer home delivery of food and medication (a pre-paid £5 fee will apply). Goods will be left on your doorstep (a telephone call will update you of their delivery). Initially, this service will be offered to clients located in the Braintree area only.

Home visits

Will be considered on a case by case basis and only after a telephone consultation with the veterinary surgeon or veterinary nurse.

Puppy Preskool

This has been cancelled for the foreseeable future and as such, no bookings are being taken at this time.

Routine appointments and vaccinations

If your pet requires a vaccination or health check this can be carried out before its due date, we are currently advising up to 3 months prior to this date.

The following non-essential nurse appointments have been postponed:
  1. Weight management clinics
  2. Pet socialisation consultations
  3. Dietary/ nutrition consultations Please be advised telephone nurse consultations will still be available at this time. Please call 01376 325511 to schedule a telephone nurse consultation.

We sincerely wish all of you wellness in this very challenging period for the world and can only assure you we are doing everything possible to ensure the best service and support for you and importantly, your pets during this very difficult time.
