Dawn first came to us during a work experience placement and started her employment the week after she left school! Dawn attended Barking College of Technology for the theoretical part of her student veterinary nurse training with all her practical experience at our practice, in those days known as Farrow, Bayer and Garrett. A couple of years after qualifying Dawn was promoted to our Head Nurse, a position she held until the practice moved from Coggeshall Road in central Braintree to Millennium Way. She has seen many changes within the veterinary nursing profession and her own role developed into assistant-practice manager, working closely with colleague and practice manager, Carol Hudson Presenting Dawn with her flowers and reflecting on the last 25 years, David said 'These are to celebrate exactly 25 years of employment with us. Your dedication, commitment and experience to the roles you have held over the years are valued by all of us.'
