Leanne Morgan RVN

RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Experience
I took on the position of trainee veterinary nurse in 1998 and qualified in 2000 after attending Writtle College.   All my nursing experience has been at this practice and over the years I have seen many changes in both the practice and in veterinary nursing itself.   I have always enjoyed veterinary nursing and the contact with our clients and their pets.   I have nursed in all areas of the practice but since working part time I am mainly based in the wards.

Interests
No two patients are the same and I can't say I have a favourite species!   All of them present with their own unique character and needs.   I am particularly interested in nursing our hospitilised patients in the wards, laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

Activities
After having my two son’s I now work part time. Outside of work my husband and I have been having our house totally renovated which has been fun. We have a menagerie of animals - including a dog, cat, hamster, guinea pigs, rabbit, chickens, ducks and two Pygmy goats. Outside of home and work I also enjoy running and have previously taken part in half marathons. Other activities include walking and cycling with the family.
